Biography

I was born in Moldova. Before coming to Montreal (Canada) in 2006 I lived in Chișinău, which is also called Kishinev.

Art came in my life when I studied painting and design in secondary school.

I chose graphics and acrylic painting as main tools of visual communication. Using lines, spots and creating simple forms helps viewers to understand my artistic approach and, through this, to ‘read’ a message, which each of my works contains. I also use color modulation: everything is a play of light and shadow.

Favorite theme

There is one artistic theme, which I’m returning to during my whole life. It is called ‘Women’. Different thoughts, different ages, symbolical meanings – I want to reveal this in my works.
